Being Biotarian is to build a future for every person and to live in harmony with nature. A sustainable living aim is to conduct our life in ways that are consistent with sustainability, in natural balance and respectful of humanity's symbiotic relationship with the Earth's natural ecology and cycles. To live more sustainably and to take action against climate change.
People are drawn to Biotarianism for many reasons:
Some of us want to respect the environment, eat organic food, have healthier lives or do our part to reduce pollution. Others have made the switch because they want to preserve Earth’s natural resources or because they’ve always loved animals and nature and are ethically opposed eating industrial food and being part of this society of over-consumption.

Why be Biotarian?
If every person in the world lived as we do in Western countries, we’d need more than one planet to support us – which obviously, we don’t have. We’d actually need more than 3 planet Earths. We consume more of just about everything, per person, than people in other countries. We consume too much food, too much paper, timber, metals, too much energy, water, plastic or glass. We need to change the way we live and reduce our over-consuming lifestyles to get back to a place and time where people and nature lived in harmony.
